Rahul Dravid's Return To RR: The former Indian Cricket Team head coach, Rahul Dravid, has officially returned to Rajasthan Royals as their head coach for the upcming Indian Premier League 2025 season. The official confirmation of the news came via the IPL franchise on Friday, as they posted a 'welcome' video in honour of the return of 'The Wall' back at the Rajasthan Royals.

Upon his arrival at the IPL franchise, Rahul Dravid expressed his delight at the decision and the thought process it took to take this challenge.
"After the World Cup, I feel it's the ideal time for me to take on another challenge, and the Royals is the perfect place to do that”, said Dravid.
With the confirmation of the appointment, Rahul Dravid will now be the Head Coach of Rajasthan Royals, and Kumar Sangakkara will be continuing his tenure as Director of Cricket for RR.
Rajasthan Royals' Heart-Breaking IPL 2024 Season
The IPL franchise was up and running in the last season, as tey seemed to be the team to beat at halfway stage, and even after every other team were through with their 9 matches, Rajasthan Royals were still sitting up top comfortably.
However, during the latter stages of the season, the side fumbled big time, and lost their momentum and form, which ultimately led them to finish 3rd and play the Eliminator.
However, the Sanju Samson-led side defeated Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the fixture, but ended up suffering a heart-breaking loss in Qualifier 2 at the hands of Pat Cummins' Sunrisers Hyderabad, and with that, their promising season ended without even making into the final.
