Indian Premier League 2024: Rishabh Pant has been given medical clearance and green signal by the National Cricket Academy (NDA) to compete in the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024. The news comes as a huge relief to the Delhi Capitals camp as they endearinly missed their talisman last year, when DC endured a dismal campaign, with only David Warner, Kuldeep Yadav, and 2-3 others being the bright stars from the campaign.

The return of Rishabh Pant means that the left-handed wicketkeeper batsman will be joining the side as their captain and with his inclusion in the starting XI, DC will be gifted with much needed firepower, which they highly lacked during last season. However, Delhi Capitals' head coach Sourav Ganguly did hint on the fact that fatigue can come in as a major reason for them to not force Rishabh Pant in every match, as the star batsman is making a return to the highest level of cricket after 18 months, since that near-fatal accident he suffered back in December 2022.
