IPL 2023 Auction HIGHLIGHTS: CSK, RR, MI, KKR, RCB, PBKS, SRH, DC, LSG, GT will hope to rope in the best resources in their arsenal before they head onto the field for their forthcoming IPL season.
Rilee Rossouw, Litton Das, Adam Zampa were sold To DC, KKR and RR respectively. Rilee has entered the bidding once again. He was previously unsold, but this time he receives favorable bids. He could be purchased by Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals. DC get him for 4.60 crore.
The mini-auction is about to come to an end. The slots for players at RCB, GT, and CSK are already full. The remaining seven teams have the following number of open slots:

The IPL 2023 Player Auction Will Be A 7-Hour Affair In Kochi. There will be an hour's break in between. The auction in set to commence at 02:30 pm (IST) with Hugh Edmeades back at the helm of affairs after a scary fall from stage last season due to Postural Hypotension after which Charu Sharma had to fill in.

HIGHLIGHTS: The much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL) Mini-auction is finally about to get underway in Kochi on December 23 at 02:30 pm (IST). A total of 405 cricketers will go under the hammer in this one-day event with a maximum of 87 slots up for grabs in the 10 franchises. Out of these, a maximum of 30 overseas players can be included by the teams.

Notably, out of a total of 405 players, 273 of them are Indians while 132 are overseas players which include 4 cricketers from associate nations. In terms of capped and uncapped cricketers, the number of uncapped players who are in the auction pool is 282 along with 4 from associate nations while the capped players set to be auctioned are 119.
It should be noted that INR 2 crore is the highest base price that a player can set for himself and 19 overseas players have chosen to the same this time around including the likes of Sam Curran, Ben Stokes and Kane Williamson. 11 cricketers have set themselves a base price of INR 1.5 crore while 20 including the likes of Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal's names will start the bidding at INR 1 crore.
