Rabada also dethroned KXIP seamer Mohammad Shami as the Purple Cap holder with the most wickets in the tournament. The South African seamer has 7 wickets from 3 matches with 3 for 26 against CSK being his best efforts in the tournament so far.

"I don't know (about his ability to keep taking the purple cap). It's a two-paced pitch, bowling into the deck was a good option, the square boundaries are a bit deep and I got away with a couple of half-volleys.
