Mumbai Indians players on Friday boarded the flight to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), on Thursday, became the first team to fly off to UAE followed by Indian members of Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. The star studded team of Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be reaching UAE on Friday.

Team Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma and star all-rounder Krunal Pandya took to social media to share their experiences. Rohit posted a video in which his daughter Samaira can be seen helping her father pack ahead of his departure.

"Got my packer in chief to help me get ready for the UAE. Thanks Sammy," Rohit wrote in the caption of the video he shared on Instagram.


All the players and officials, who have already been tested for coronavirus before departure will be placed in a six-day isolation period upon their arrival in the UAE, during which time they will undergo test for COVID-19 with testing on days 1, 3 and 6.

If they test negative for the virus, then only they will be allowed to enter the Bio-secure bubble.

On the other hand, Rohit Sharma's teammate Krunal Pandya shared his squad's 'new airport look'.
