Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will lock horns with bottom-placed Chennai Super Kings in Match 44 of the IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai (UAE) later on Sunday afternoon.

The RCB vs CSK match which will be the first off the week-end Double Headers is scheduled to commence at 3:30 pm (IST) with the toss slated to be held at 3:00 pm (IST)

While RCB are in a strong position to finish in the top 4 and secure a play-off berth, it is virtually all but over for 3-time champions CSK who languish at the bottom of the points table with just 6 points

Placed third in the points table behind Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, a win for RCB will surely seal them a play-off berth in the ongoing IPL Season 13 as they would scale the magical 16 point mark. Kohli and his 'Red and Black' brigade will still have three more games in their bank to consolidate their position.

CSK who will need a miracle to sneak into the play-offs will be playing for pride in their remaining 3 league fixtures and hope to end their nightmarish season on a bit of a high.

CSK's chances of play-off qualification were dealt a massive blow after reigning champions Mumbai Indians inflicted a 10-wicket defeat on their rivals.

Inconsistency in both the batting and bowling units have been the major cause behind CSK finding themselves in such a dismal situation in the tournament.

With the exception of Faf Du Plessis, Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja to an extent, none of the CSK batsman have been able to make an impact. The CSK bowlers have been a bit better but still not good enough to make regular breakthroughs and choke the opposition.

Josh Hazlewood, Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur will once again resume the seam duties for CSK against MI. Meanwhile spin all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will take up spin duties with Proteas age leggie Imran Tahir.

RCB have been on an uphill since starting the tournament with a mixed bag of results. The entire RCB batting unit has come to the party with most of their frontline batsmen in Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli and AB De Villiers showcasing good form in their recent set of wins.

Chris Morris has further provided depth with both bat and ball to the RCB unit. The South African speedster will once again form the seam battery with Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini.

The highly experienced leg spinner will look to cast a web around the CSK batsmen with his spin partner Washington Sundar.
