David Warner led Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first against Mumbai Indians in the 56th and the last league match of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE on Tuesday (November 3). In todays' contest, it is important for the David Warner & Co. to register another victory and make their way for the playoffs. While the squad will be keen to give their best to stay alive in the competition and set up a not-so-straight forward clash against Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Eliminator, Mumbai based outfit on the hand will aim to continue their winning streak after qualifying for the playoffs with an ease.

The under-pressure fifth placed Hyderabad currently has 14 points from 13 matches so far and now requires the deciding two points for the playoffs. The side has won six matches and lost seven whereas MI has win nine times and lost 4 of their 13 matches this season. The Mumbai squad sits at the top of the points table with 18 points and has already reserved berth for the playoffs.

As of now, both the teams have faced each other 15 times in the mega sporting tournament where Mumbai Indians have dominated the fixture by winning 8 times. Speaking of this season, the two teams squared off in Sharjah on October 4th, where MI defeated the Hyderabad-based outfit by 34 runs.

It is yet to be seen if once again the top placed and secured team of Mumbai will defeat the Warner's brigade, or the Orange team will spin its magic and head towards the playoff from hereon.
