IPL 2020: Mumbai Indians defeated Kings XI Punjab by a huge margin of 48 runs in Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Thursday. While Mumbai Indians did not start off well and lost Quinton de Kock and Suryakumar Yadav in quick succession. But Rohit Sharma played a captain's knock. The show stopper of the match was the tussle between MI Captain Rohit Sharma and KXIP fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

The MI captain played an explosive inning and registered a 70 runs knock. In the process, Rohit Sharma also became the 3rd player to score 5,000 runs IPL run. More records were broken in the fiery encounter between Mumbai Indians and Kings Eleven Punjab.
