The 51st round robin fixture in the ongoing thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) will witness Delhi Capitals (DC) locking horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in a short while from now.

Toss Update: Mumbai Indians Skipper Kieron Pollard won the toss and opted to bowl first against Delhi Capitals at Dubai.

Delhi Capitals have made three changes to their Playing XI against MI. Praveen Dubey will be making his IPL Debut. Meanwhile Prithvi Shaw and Harshal Patel are back in the side for Iyer-led DC. Hard hitting seam-allrounder Hardik Pandya and James Pattinson will be missing out for Mumbai Indians. They have been replaced by Jayant Yadav and Nathan Coulter-Nile respectively.

Kieron Pollard (MI) - We will field first. Not sure what this pitch will do, it's better to chase down the target. Two changes for us - Hardik is resting today and Pattinson misses out. We have been playing well with everyone chipping in, hopefully, it will continue. We need to go hard till the end, not want to get complacent.

Shreyas Iyer (DC)- We wanted to bat first as well. Previous results tell it's better to bat first. Batting hasn't been up to the mark, hopefully, it will do well today. Three changes for us - Praveen Dubey makes his IPL debut. Prithvi Shaw and Harshal Patel are back. We are motivated to do well as a team, want to finish on a good note

The result of high voltage encounters between two of the most consistent teams in the tournament will have a major bearing on how the play-off scenario pans out.

While Mumbai Indians (MI) will look to further cement their position in the points table after seeking play-off qualification, Delhi Capitals (DC) would eye a win against the defending champions to get to 16 points and bolster their chances of grabbing one of the remaining three playoff spots.
