Before the 12th season of the Indian Premier League, Delhi Daredevils has added a very crucial person in their support staff. Indian cricket team's former star Mohammad Kaif has joined Delhi Daredevils. The team has not won the title even once. Even during the last season, along with the players, lot of reshuffling took place in the support staff as well.
According to a report in Times of India, Amre, a former Mumbai coach, was himself keen for his new role, which would basically end with the team once the IPL auction is done. As it has been reported in the past, DD's new part-owners, JSW, have been keen to ring few changes ever since they acquired a stake in the franchise.
Kaif, who has played 13 Tests and 125 ODIs for India, had earlier joined the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Gujarat Lions as a fielding coach for two years.
On the other hand, Amre is also happy with this new role, but if the news is to be believed, then with the end of the auction, his role can be over too.
The last season for Delhi was not so good right from the beginning as only after the initial match, Gautam Gambhir left the captaincy.
Not only that, he was even excluded from the playing eleven after that.
