INDW VS SAW Only Test: Sneh Rana created history on Day 3 of the Only Test match between India Women and South Africa Women at M. Chidambaram Stadium (famously known as Chepaux) as she became the second Indian Women bowler to scalp 8 wickets in a Test innings. She now joins Neetu David in the list, who achieved her feat against England Women in 1995 at Jamshedpur.

"It was a little challenging at the start for the spinners, it was not turning as much but as the game went on it became fun and the ball started to spin and bounce off the surface. The mindset through out the game has been to pick up wickets and we will continue to keep the same mindset tomorrow," said Sneh Rana after Day 3 ended, in a post-day interview.

"Laura, Kapp and Sune are some of the best batters in the world and they have done well in their past. They have come to compete too and credit to the way they batted today. Everyone has put in equal efforts in today, the bowlers have complemented each other and the fielders have supported us as well," she added.

Here's How INDW VS SAW Only Test Day 3 Panned Out

However, what followd later was pure mayhem from South Africa batters, as after losing Anneke Bosch early in the 1st session itself, the Proteas Women only lost 1 wicket in the next two sessions, as skipper Laura Woolvardt and Sune Luus put on a 190-run stand for the second wicket, before the latter was dismissed by skipper Harmanpreet Kaur on an individual score of 109.
