INDW vs AUSW 2nd ODI: Australia Women defeated India Women by 122 runs in the second match of the IND vs AUS three-match ODI series on December 8 (Sunday) at the Allan Border Field, Brisbane. Centuries from Georgia Voll and Ellyse Perry propelled Australia to a formidable total of 371 against India in the first innings. Chasing the challenging target, India could only manage 249, giving Australia an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Australia's victory solidified their top spot in the ICC Women’s Championship standings with 32 points, ahead of England (28) and India (25).

Stand-in captain Tahlia McGrath's decision to bat first after winning the toss paid off as Australia posted a massive total, thanks to a 130-run opening stand between Phoebe Litchfield (60) and Georgia Voll, who scored her maiden international century, finishing with 101 runs.

India’s chase faltered early as Smriti Mandhana and Harleen Deol fell cheaply. A 66-run stand between Richa Ghosh (54) and Harmanpreet Kaur brought some stability, but Alana King dismissed Ghosh, halting India's momentum.

Jemimah Rodrigues (43) and Harmanpreet Kaur added 37 runs, but their dismissals, along with Minnu Mani's fighting 46, couldn't prevent India's collapse as they fell short of Australia's 372. The final ODI will take place on 11 December at the WACA.
