Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has become the proud owner of the luxury vehicle Jaguar F-Type. The two-seater coupe was delivered to the pace bowler after he returned from the England tour. The purchase comes after the Indian cricketer recently bought Royal Enfield Continental GT 650.

Amit Garg, Director of Shiva Motors, posted pictures on his LinkedIn account with the Indian pacer receiving the luxury car. He also shared a picture of the Indian pacer gifting him a signed cricket ball.

The Indian bowling spearhead has been rested for the ongoing West Indies tour. Shami recently became the joint-third fastest bowler to take 150 wickets in ODI history.

Jaguar F-Type — Price And Specifications

The Indian cricketer has purchased the 2.0-Coupe R-Dynamic variant of the Jaguar F-Type worth around Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom). The two-seater coupe features leather upholstery, JLR’s latest connectivity suite, and a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features.

With a Caldera Red exterior colour, the Jaguar F-Type is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 295 hp and a max torque of 400 Nm.

According to reports, the Jaguar F-Type has a 2.0-litre engine and is powered by an 8-speed ZF transmission. It also comes with a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 engine

For safety, the Jaguar F-Type consists of blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, hill start assists control, lane change assists and driver attention. Other safety features also include Warning Vehicle Stability Management, Forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist.
