India women's team captain Harmanpreet Kaur made headlines for all the wrong reasons as the 34-year-old smashed stumps with her bat during the final ODI between the two teams and in the post-match presentation slammed hosts for 'poor and biased' umpiring throughout the ODI series. She even scoffed at Bangladesh women's team, leading to hosts refraining to take part in the joint photo session post-match.

Meanwhile, 1983 World Cup winner Madan Lal is not happy with the way Harmanpreet behaved as he took to Twitter to suggest that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) should take strict action against her.

"Harmanpreet's behaviour against the Bangladesh women's team was pathetic. She is not bigger than the game. She has a very bad name for Indian cricket. BCCI should take very strict disciplinary action," he tweeted.

Bangladesh women's cricket team skipper Nigar Sultana also slammed the Indian captain for her actions and said, "It is totally her (Harmanpreet Kaur) problem. I have nothing to do with it. As a player, she could have shown better manners. I can't tell you what happened, but it didn't feel right to be there [for the photograph] with my team. It wasn't the right environment. That's why we went back. Cricket is a game of discipline and respect."
