India vs West Indies: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a heartwarming video showcasing Indian cricketers' fun interaction with locals of Barbados ahead of India vs West Indies two-match Test series, starting from July 12 onwards. The Indian team geared up for IND vs WI Tests by taking part in a two-day intra-squad practice game, with teams comprising a mix of local club cricketers and their own 16 players.

To make locals feel special, star India pacer Mohammed Siraj came up with a heartfelt gesture as he gifted his bat and shoes to one of the local players. They also got a chance to have a chat with legends of the game --  Ravichandran Ashwin and Rohit Sharma -- in the Indian dressing room. In one one the frames, Ashwin was seen sharing some valuable insights with a local player just outside the dressing room.






Rohit Sharma-led team India will play a two-match Test series against hosts West Indies from 12th July. With this series, India will start its World Test Championship (WTC) 2023-25 ​​campaign. India won its last 4 Test series on the West Indies tour and would like to maintain its streak by winning the upcoming series as well.


So far, India and West Indies have squared off against each other in a total of 98 Tests, off these West Indies won 30 Tests, while India won 22 matches and 46 Tests ended in a draw.


India have so far played 51 Tests on the West Indies tour, out of which they won 9, lost 16 and 26 matches ended in a draw. The last time West Indies won a Test series against India was in 2002.
