WI- 106/4 after 15 overs. 30 balls remaining in the innings but two new batters-Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell out in the middle. They don't usually take much time to get going though.

Johnson Charles it is the new man in for West Indies.
WICKET! And there it is. The first breakthrough for India and contrary to what seems to be the trend it's the left-arm spinner Axar Patel who removes left-handed Mayers. He has got him caiught in the deep. WI- 55/1 in 7.4 Overs.
END OF POWERPLAY! WI- 38/0. No wickets for India this time and a quieter powerplay from West Indies' perspective. But they have all the 10 wickets in hand.
Brandon King and Kyle Mayers open the batting for West Indies. Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh with the new ball for India. Axar Patel bowling the third over. WI- 19/0 after 3 overs.
Out come the West Indies openers but the players are walking off. Bizarre it may sound but the 30-yard circle isn't drawn which is why there will be a delay.

Background
IND vs WI 3rd T20 Score LIVE: After losing the Test series and giving India a fight in the T20I series, West Indies are on the verge of a series win in the five-match T20I series. The hosts have taken a 2-0 lead already and the third match of the five-match series will get underway at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday (August 8). Fair to say in both the matches so far, it is the Indian batters who have disappointe. Young Tilak Varma has been the bright spark in India's batting lineup but none of the others have really made an impact.
On the other hand, it could be argued that West Indies batting has been dependant to a large extent on Nicholas Pooran. However, that seems to have been worked for them and they have at least found a way to come out on top on both the matches with their batters also due for runs. In addition, captaincy of Hardik Pandya has been criticised big time especially after he decided to not hand leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal his fourth over despite him being effective bowling arguably the over that kept India in the game after Pooran's blistering knock in the second T20I.
It would be interesting to see if Kuldeep Yadav is back in the scheme of things after missing out as a precautionary measure in the second match. Axar Patel, despite being in the XI, did not bowl a single over probably due to the presence of left-handed batters in the opposition. But then if he is only in the side as a batter, one could argue the place of a specialist batter in the team instead of Axar.
With all these things in mind, the action for the IND vs WI T20I will commence at 08:00 pm (IST). Will West Indies take an unassailable lead or will India stay alive in the series? We shall find out over the course of the next few hours.
