The end of Day 4's play saw India taking massive strides towards a win in a match that seemed to be headed towards a draw.


West Indies started the fourth Day's play on 229/5 in their first innings, India took the remaining five wickets in 7.4 overs before superb quickfire half-centuries from Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan to end the day's play as the favourites to win if the rain does not spoil the show on the final day. India's second innings which lasted just 24 overs before the tourists decided to declare their innings on 181/2 and try to push for a win, Rohit smashed the fastest half-century of his career eventually getting out on 57 off 44. 


Ravichandran Ashwin bagged two wickets before stumps on Day 4, making India the favourites to win the second Test. The match will start early with potentially 98 overs possible on Day 5 and with 8 wickets in hand, West Indies will have to bat out of their skins to pull off a draw.
