India vs Sri Lanka: Indian cricket team is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka. Team India has chosen a completely different side for Test matches and for the limited-overs series. Actually, this is happening for the first time in Indian cricket history, when two teams of India are on a tour of different countries at the same time and will play international matches from two different countries at the same time.
In fact, a team with the main players under the captaincy of Virat Kohli is on a tour of England, which will play a five-match Test series with England from August 4. On the other hand, a team of India is on a tour of Sri Lanka, which will play a three-match ODI series from July 18 and T20 series of equal number of matches after that. The captaincy of this team has been handed over to Shikhar Dhawan.

Actually, this entire plan has been made by Sourav Ganguly, President of the Indian Cricket Board i.e. BCCI. This is happening for the first time under Ganguly's leadership when two teams of India will play international cricket against two countries simultaneously.
ODI series will start from July 18
The ODI series between India and Sri Lanka will start on July 18. After this, the second and third ODI matches will be played on July 20 and 23. All three matches will be played in Colombo from 3 pm according to Indian time.
After this, the first T20 will be played on July 25. At the same time, the second and third T20 will be played on July 27 and 29. All matches of the T20 series will start at 8 pm Indian time. All these matches will be played in Colombo only.
