The Indian team will take part in a red ball series and a 50-over series after playing the 3-match T20I series. The highly-anticipated T20I series between India and South Africa will begin on Sunday in Durban and then the Men in Blue head to Gqeberha and will then play the final game in Johannesburg. The first T20I game which is slated to take place at Kingsmead will be only the second T20I fixture between India and South Africa at this venue.

Ravindra Jadeja has been named as the vice-captain. For South Africa, Aiden Markram will lead the side in the upcoming T20I series.
