While Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first, their innings has already witnessed two rain-interruptions with less than 12 overs bowled. Between the two halts though, India have lost 3 wickets with the Men in Blue losing Rohit, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, who seemed to be struggling a bit with his line and length before the first rain break, came back with better plans which worked straight away as he got rid of Rohit Sharma with a beauty. In his very next over, he removed Virat Kohli. Later, Iyer who was looking in good nick hit one straight to the fielder on the leg side to leave India at 48/3 in 9.5 Overs.
