The Indian team is set to play against Ireland in a three-match T20 International series, starting on Friday (August 18). Ahead of the first game, Cricket Ireland has stated that all the tickets for the first and second Men's T20 Internationals between Ireland and India are now sold out. Evidently, this happened because of a huge fan base of the Indian team and their popularity and fame are adding financial muscle to emerging cricket boards.

"The first and second Men's T20 Internationals between Ireland and India are now sold out, with the third match selling quickly," Cricket Ireland posted on its website.

All the matches will be played at 'The Village' Malahide Cricket Club Ground which has an official capacity of 11,500. Talking about the records, the Indian team have sealed victories in all of their five previous T20Is against Ireland since the team under the leadership of MS Dhoni outplayed them eight wickets in a World Twenty20 group fixture in England in 2009. Ireland then hosted team India twice in a two-match T20I series in 2018 and 2022 which were played at the same venue.

India vs Ireland 1st T20I will take place in Dublin on Friday (August 18), followed by the remaining two T20Is on August 20 and 23 at the same venue. After losing the series against West Indies 2-3, the Men in Blue will be looking to win this series against Ireland. All eyes will be on Jasprit Bumrah who is making a comeback after a long injury hiatus.
