Apparel brand Adidas unveiled team India jersey for the upcoming 2023 ICC ODI World Cup with a  music video on their social media handle. All the prominent players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted in the music video. Indian rapper and singer Rafter sang a song titled '3 Ka Dream’.  The Indian team has been donning Adidas kits ever since the BCCI announced a multi-year contract with the sports giant on May 23, 2023. After the previous kit sponsor decided to end its contract, BCCI roped in Adidas as their kit sponsor. Before Adidas, it was Killer Jeans, a clothing brand, from MPL who took over the kit sponsorship.

Talking about the World Cup jersey, Adidas has followed the same theme as the ODI kit being used by the Indian team at the moment. But they they made a few changes to it in the form of white stripes on the shoulder have been replaced with the tricolour of the Indian flag. The logo of the Indian team will have two stars rather than three, citing India's World Cup triumphs in 1983 and 2011.

Ever since the Indian team started wearing Adidas kits, they have attained success in the ODI format. They won a 50-over series in West Indies, followed up by their 8th Asia Cup title last week after they outplayed Sri Lanka in the final by 10 wickets in a one-sided affair. The Men in Blue are now gearing up for the three-match ODI series against Australia, which will begin on September 20. The Board of Control for Cricket in India also announced India's squad with senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma being rested for the first two matches while KL Rahul has been named the captain.

The matches will be played on Friday, September 22, Sunday, September 24, and Wednesday, September 27 in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot respectively.
