The Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 is just two weeks away and the ICC unveiled the event's official anthem, 'Dil Jashn Bole’ on Wednesday. In a collaboration between Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and composer Pritam, the anthem has been released. The Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma is also there in the anthem. The music belongs to Pritam while the lyrics have been given by Shloke Lal and Saaveri Verma.


In the anthem, actor Ranveer Singh was spotted dancing in the World Cup 'One-Day Express' as it grabs the excitement among fans for the mega event, starting from October 5 in Ahmedabad.






The high-octane event will be returning to India for the first time in 12 years and will be held across 10 cities. The season opener will be taking place between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5. The Indian team will start their campaign by playing against Australia in Chennai. The Men in Blue won the World Cup back in 2011 which was held in India after MS Dhoni led the side to a historic victory in Mumbai.


While talking about the Anthem launch, superstar Ranveer Singh said "As a part of the Star Sports family and a die-hard cricket fan, being part of this anthem launch for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 is truly an honor. It's a celebration of the sport we all love."
