Keeping an eye on the World T20 which is scheduled to take place in 2019, India have named a full-strength women’s squad for Asia Cup T20.


The Tournament will be held from June 1 to June 11 in Malaysia and will feature India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, and host Malaysia will be held from June 1 to 1. Each team will play against the other and the top two teams on the points table will qualify for the final.


Veteran all-rounder Rumeli Dhar has been dropped from the 15-member squad. Dhar had made a comeback to the Indian side after a six-year hiatus during the South Africa tour as a replacement for injured Jhulan Goswami.


Dhar last featured for India in the T20 series against Australia and England, only playing the tournament opener before being dropped for the remaining games.
