India A vs Oman Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024: India A defeated Oman by six wickets and registered their third consecutive victory in the ongoing ACC Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 on October 23 (Wednesday) at Al Amerat in Muscat, Oman. With the win, India emerged as the only undefeated team in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024 across both Group A and Group B. With the tournament done and dusted with it's league stage, all four semi-finalists have alos been confirmed.
Oman won the toss and put Tilak Varma-led India in to bowl first. With help from the middle-order and the lower-middle order, Oman posted 140-5 in 20 overs.

In response, India lost opener Anuj Rawat cheaply. However, opener Abhishek Sharma provided the crucial momentum with a quickfire 34-run knock while skipper Varma played an anchor role with a 30-ball 36 runs knock. Ayush Badoni notched up a half-century with a 27-ball 51 runs knock and helped India secure their third win on the bounce in just 15.2 overs.
Badoni was deservingly awarded with the Player of the Match prize for his match-winning fifty.
