Post suffering defeats in the two games of the series, the Indian team is set to compete against the West Indies in the third T20I of the five-match series at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

The Men in Blue will be eyeing a comeback since they lost two matches in the ongoing series against Windies. Since this is a must-win game for the Indian team, they are likely to make a few changes to their starting XI. The Indian team can try out talented left-hander Yashasvi Jaiswal in place of Sanju Samson, who has been struggling to score runs in the ongoing series. This change can also witness Shubman Gill drop down to the number three position, where he also batted in the Test series.

Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are likely to retain their middle-order spots, with skipper Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel will be playing as the two all-rounders. Chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav who missed out on playing in the second T20I because of an injury will likely to be featured in the playing XI in place of Ravi Bishnoi. Hardik Pandya’s team could also give room to pacer Umran Malik in place of Mukesh Kumar, who has scalped just one wicket in the two matches while giving away 24 runs in the first match and 35 runs in the second match.

Windies on the other hand will be looking to continue their winning run and stick to the same formula in order to register a T20I series win over India for the first time since 2016.
