Players of both India and Sri Lanka are sporting a black armband in memory of spin legend Shane Warne during the 1st Test at Mohali. Players also observed a two-minute silence before the play resumed on Day 2 of the first Test in Shane Warne and Rodney Marsh's (who also passed away yesterday) memory.

Shane Warne passed away at the age of 52 on Friday while he was on a vacation in Thailand. His passing led to a flood of condolence messages from people in the cricketing fraternity.

Even Virat Kohli paid his respects. He said, "Life is fickle and unpredictable. I stand here in disbelief and shock."
