IND vs SA T20 WC 2024 Final Predicted Playing 11: India and South Africa will lock horns against each other in the all-important T20 World Cup 2024 final on June 29 (Saturday) at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. India and South Africa both have remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and one of them will continue the streak. South Africa will come off a semifinal victory against Afghanistan and India will play the final after defeating England in the second semifinal of the tournament. Additionally, South Africa will be competing in their maiden ICC World Cup final, having finally broken their semi-final jinx.

The Men in Blue have not lost a match in the tournament and have most of their bases covered. Rohit Sharma has been leading from the front as India's top run-scorer in the tournament. His aggressive stroke play has laid solid platforms for India. In India’s last Super 8 match, against Australia, Rohit’s innings of 92 runs off just 41 balls was the crucial differentiator for both teams. And then in the semifinal against England, his 39-ball 57 runs knock once again laid a solid foundation for the rest of the batters and helped India post a good total.

In the semi-final against England at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, India looked at their best, winning the match by 68 runs. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav were the chief destroyers, picking up three wickets each. Jasprit Bumrah also shone, claiming the crucial wicket of Phil Salt.

India Predicted Playing 11 For T20 World Cup 2024 Final

Since India have most of their bases covered, it is highly unlikely that they will bring any sort of change to their team at all in the IND vs SA Final of the T20 World Cup 2024. However, a question arises whether they will change the position of their star batter Virat Kohli bakc to his natural position of number three. Kohli, since assuming the role of an opener, has not been able to score runs. The highest that he got was 37 runs and he has only managed 75 runs in 7 innings in the tournament so far.

Still and all, it is highly unlikely that Rohit Sharma and the management will seek to change his position for the final as it will change the team dynamics, and with everything going well in their favour so far, why fix something that is not broken?

Despite Shivam Dube also not being at his best, India will likely persist with him. Mohammed Siraj may remain on the bench for the final. Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel will continue to play key roles in the spin attack.

Predicted 11: Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah.
