South African cricketer David Miller on Sunday got his name on the record books as he equaled the record for most career catches by a fielder in T20 internationals. Miller achieved the feat when he caught Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya off Kagiso Rabada's bowling on the second-last ball of the 20th over of Indian innings. The catch also happened to be Miller's 50th catch in his T20 career.
Miller equaled Pakistan's Shoaib Malik's record of 50 catches in T20Is. While Malik achieved the feat in 111 games, Miller took 39 games less to attain the 50 catch milestone. Another South Africa great fielders AB De Villiers is on the third spot with 44 catches.

South Africa registered a thumping 9-wicket win over India in the final game of the 3-match T20 series at Bengaluru on Sunday and level the series against the hosts.
After the Proteas restricted India to a below par 134-total, skipper Quinton De Kock led from the front to power their chase. None of the Indian batsman except opener Shikhar Dhawan could get going against a power packed bowling effort by the Proteas bowlers.
India had taken the lead in the three-match series following their victory in Mohali on Wednesday while the first match in Dharamsala was washed out without a ball being bowled on September 15.
