India's wicket keeper Rishabh Pant once again disappointed with the bat as he again was a victim of poor shot selection during the 3rd T20I against South Africa at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Pant who scored a breezy 20-run knock once again repeated the same old mistake of playing a rather halfhearted  shot and getting dismissed in a loose fashion of the bowling of Bjorn Fortuin.

Cricket fans across the world expressed their dismay and trolled Rishabh Pant for his spree of batting failure for the national side in the ongoing series.

Pant decided to go after the delivery with a loft over long-off, but since he had to reach for it all he could manage was a slice straight to Phehlukwayo, who made no mistake. In the previous encounter, Pant had fell prey to his poor shot selection as he sliced the ball straight to Tabraiz Shamsi, regardless of having all the time to execute a better shot.

Pant has already played 11 Tests, 12 ODIs and 19 T20Is and by now it is expected that the young wicketkeeper-batsman needs to exhibit a more mature outlook towards batting and not falter to careless shots. The young wicketkeeper-batsman, who is currently India's no 1 choice in the absence of MS Dhoni, has been marred with criticism for his poor shot selection.

South African bowlers bowled a number of variations while cutting down on pace while stifling the star-studded Indian batting order to restrict them to 134 for 9 at the end of their 20 overs.

While Shikhar Dhawan was the only Indian batsman who timed the ball sweetly during his stay, the rest of the batsmen perished trying to go big against the lack of pace offered by the opposition.
