IND vs PAK Hong Kong Sixes: India succumbed to a defeat in their Hong Kong Super Sixes match against Pakistan on Friday (November 1). Robin Uthapppa-led India Sixes scored 119/2 in their six overs but Pakistan chased down the total 0 wickets down with an over to spare.


India captain Uthappa and Bharat Chipli helped the team off to a great start before Uthappa departed off the bowling of Faheem Ashraf. Kedar Jadhav could not make a significant impact with the bat and only made 8 runs. However, Chipli was retired not out on 53 off 16 and after Uthappa's 31 off 8 and later contribution off the bat of Manoj Tiwari who scored 17 off 7, India Sixes got to the big total.

Asif Ali Shines in Pakistan 6s Run Chase Against India 6s


In response, however, Pakistan Sixes eased through the target. They did not lose any wickets on their way to the target with each of Muhammad Akhlaq and Asif Ali scoring 40 and 55 respectively. While Asif was retired not out while Akhlaq remained unbeaten along with Faheem scored 22 off 5 balls.


None of the Indian bowlers in Stuart Binny, Jadhav, Shahbaz Nadeem and Manoj Tiwary could produce a wicket with Nadeem who bowled two overs having the costliest economy, going at 28.50 runs per over. While Asif Ali smashed 7 sixes in his innings, Akhlaq scored 4. Another three of them came off the bat of Faheem as Pakistan thrashed India.
