IND Vs NZ 2nd T20I: India is a land where cricket is not a sport, but it is a religion. It has been a common sight for cricket viewers to see fans breach the security and enter the cricket field to meet their favourite crcketers.

A similar incident happened on Friday in Ranchi, when a fan ran onto the field just to touch Rohit Sharma's feet. The Indian T20I captain was taken aback by the incident as seen in the below video, but he handled the situation well and asked the fan to be back safely.

Take a look at the video below:

This is not the first such incident that has happened with Rohit. The Indian captain faced a similar situation in 2019. Such incidents took place also when Virat Kohli, Sunil Gavaskar or Sachin Tendulkar used to play cricket. India's craze for its batsmen will never die as the nation keeps on churning great batsmen in cricket.

India beat New Zealand by seven wickets at JSCA International Stadium on Friday and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Openers KL Rahul (49-ball 65) and Rohit Sharma (36-ball 55) stitched a solid 100-plus opening stand to seal the deal for India.

Rohit Sharma invited New Zealand to bat first after winning his second straight toss in the series. Brilliant bowing display from the Indian bowlers restricted New Zealand to 153/6.
