India vs England 3rd Test will be played at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. It will be the second ever Day-Night Test to be played in India. The first was played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 2019 against Bangladesh. Captain Virat Kohli became the first player to score a century in a Day-Night Test in India. That incidentally was the last century that Virat scored. But coming in to the Motera Test, Kohli looks confident and is tilting in favor of playing more seamers than spinners.

Both the teams have won a match each and that makes the situation extremely poised. Virat Kohli said a few things about the pitch and the conditions at Motera. He feels the ball will swing when it is “nice and shiny”.

Kohli looks confident about his team. Even though the pink ball tends to favour the quick bowlers he feels it won’t benefit the visiting team. Virat thinks the English team have a lot of weaknesses and the Indian team could capitalize on these weaknesses. When asked about the plans for the England team, Kohli said, "...not really bothered about what the strengths and weaknesses of the English team are. We have beaten them in their home as well, where the ball does way more and hold them out every time so we're not really bothered with that. It's just about playing well as a team.”

“We probably have, you know, among other teams, the best bowling attack in the world so we're not really bothered by what the ball might bring differently to the table. We're ready for anything that comes our way,” Kohli asserted.

With the way Kohli was speaking, it looks like India will go in the game with three seamers and rest one of Kuldeep or Axar. We will have to wait till 2 pm IST of 24 February to know the playing eleven that is in Virat Kohli’s mind.

The third Test between India and England begins at 2:30 pm IST on 24 February 2021. The live streaming will be available on Disney+Hotstar App.
