In the ongoing 2nd Test between England and India at the Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, England pacer James Anderson delivered an exceptional delivery to disturb the stumps of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma during the hosts' second innings. Rohit was dismissed early in the morning session on Day 3, unable to add to his overnight total of 13 runs.

James Anderson showcased his bowling mastery in the 7th over of India's second innings with a delivery that will be remembered for its sheer brilliance when he bowled Rohit Sharma. The ball, pitched fuller in length and angled towards the stumps, enticed Rohit into a defensive shot. However, the ball subtly moved away, deceiving the bat and creating a dramatic impact on the off stump, sending it for a stroll. Rohit Sharma's dismissal for 13 runs, which included three boundaries, gave England the early breakthrough they were seeking.

Here’s A Video Of James Anderson’s Jaffa:

The seasoned pacer, James Anderson, extended his exceptional performance by taking the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had earlier scored a splendid double century. Anderson pitched the ball up, enticing Jaiswal with its outward angle. Jaiswal, attempting a drive, was deceived by the subtle movement, leading to an edge that was securely caught by Joe Root in the slip cordon. Jaiswal's innings came to an end at 17 runs, which included three fours.

James Anderson's early double breakthroughs on Day 3 put India in a challenging position at 30/2. Nevertheless, Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer staged a strong comeback with a resilient partnership, revitalising India's stance in the contest. Gill achieved a crucial half-century, and Iyer contributed 29 runs before being dismissed to a remarkable catch from the England captain Ben Stokes. The duo's combined efforts resulted in an 81-run partnership for the third wicket, aiding India in regaining control of the match.
