India won a thrilling game against England on Monday. The Lord's Test match belonged to a lot of great performances from Indian bowlers, as well as the batsmen. England also did well in bits and pieces. Their best bowler in the 2nd innings, Mark Wood is doubtful to play the third Test match on 25 August.

Wood suffered a shoulder injury on Day 4 against India and has not fully recovered from it. The information was given by England's coach Chris Silverwood. If Wood is termed unfit for the third Test, then he would be the fourth premium bowling option that England will have to lose out on. Earlier,  Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer, and Chris Woakes were already out due to various injuries. Even Ben Stokes had announced a temporary break from cricket.

"The medics are working on him, we'll find out more in the next couple of days," England's head coach Chris Silverwood said on Tuesday. He also said that they are monitoring the situation with the fast-bowler. "We will make a decision, along with him and our medics, closer to the time. But if he's not right, he's not right. I certainly won't push him into playing if he tells me he's not right. I will look after him," added the English coach.

England captain and coach will look to bounce back in the series and try to have a good combination in the team. India, on Monday, under skipper Virat Kohli secured their third Test win at the iconic Lord's and first after 2014 triumph under legend MS Dhoni.
