India's T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav is reported to have fully recovered from his injury. He is set to return to action in the Duleep Trophy and is expected to be available for the T20I series against Bangladesh.
According to several media reports, Suryakumar is expected to join Ruturaj Gaikwad-led India C team for their third and final match against Mayank Agarwal’s India A team. The game is scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 19, at the Rural Development Trust Stadium in Punjab's Anantapur.

With Suryakumar Yadav regaining match fitness, he is set to be available to captain the national team in IND vs BAN three-match T20I series, beginning October 6.
The 34-year-old sustained a thumb injury to his right hand while playing for Mumbai in Buchi Babu Invitational Tournament. He subsequently underwent rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
While BCCI or NCA have not released an official update on Suryakumar Yadav's fitness, he hinted at his cricket comeback on social media. On Tuesday, while traveling from Bengaluru to Anantapur, SKY shared a picture with the caption, "Next stop: Anantapur."
After the two Test matches between India and Bangladesh in Chennai and Kanpur, the teams will compete in a three-match T20I series. IND vs BAN 1st T20I will be held in Gwalior on October 6, followed by matches in Delhi on October 9 and Hyderabad on October 12.

India's Star Players From Test Series To Miss T20Is Against Bangladesh
Shubman Gill, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant are among the prominent players likely to be rested for the T20I series against Bangladesh. This decision is aimed at managing their workload and keeping them injury-free. Indian players will have a brief period of rest, as the T20Is wrap up on October 12, right before the Test series against New Zealand starts on October 16.
