Mayank, Nitish Handed T20I Debuts: India have announced their playing XI for the first T20I against Bangladesh, as the T20 World champions are set to play their first home T20I since the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan back in January 2024. "We would like to bowl first. Looks little humid, I don't think there will be changes in the conditions. Great to be back in India. Lot of talent involved in the group, guys are keen to learn. Looks beautiful, crowd looks great. Excited to play here. Looks a good pitch, we are excited to play. Guys who have been doing well, deserve an opportunity. Guys missing out, are Tilak, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh, and Harshit Rana," said Suryakumar Yadav, India Captain, after winning the toss and electing to bowl first.
