India had a really tough outing on Day 2 of India vs Australia World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final at the Oval cricket stadium in London. Centurions Travid Head (163) and Steven Smith (121) hammered the Indian bowlers all over the park to power Australia to a mammoth 469 in their first innings. In reply, India were reeling at 151 with half of their batters back in the pavilion by the end of Day 2's play. Notably, the first four batters of India's top-order -- Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli -- were dismissed after scoring runs between 13 to 15.

Fans had huge hopes from batting legend Virat Kohli, who not only enjoys a great batting record against Australia but was also entering the mega event after an outstanding IPL season. Sadly, the RCB star could score just 14 runs before he was dismissed by Mitchell Starc in the 19th over. Starc extracted some extra bounce from a short-pitched delivery that took the edge of Kohli's bat and went straight towards the slip fielder Steven Smith, who then completed a stunning catch.
