IND vs AUS WTC Final 2023: Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma, after finishing third in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, is all set to return back as India skipper in the upcoming India vs Australia World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final. Rohit Sharma-led team India will aim to win their maiden WTC Final trophy when they take on arch-nemesis Australia in the summit clash, starting from June 7 at The Oval in England. This is the second time India made it to a WTC Final. In the inaugural edition of the ICC tournament, team India faced a crushing defeat against New Zealand. Meanwhile, just days ahead of the contest, former Pakistan captain Salman Butt launched a scathing attack on Rohit Sharma over his fitness.

Saying that there's a 'world of difference between Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni', Butt asserted how Rohit's batting and confidence will improve if he works on his fitness.

"There's a world of difference between the two (Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni). Rohit Sharma has a big designation; he's the captain of India. He should be leading by example in all aspects, and fitness is a very important aspect. As a captain, when you are in a position to demand something from your teammates, you should have them yourself. You should be top of the line," Butt said in a video posted on his YouTube Channel.

"When you look at Rohit Sharma, you realise that fitness is one aspect where he can be a lot better. It will improve his batting and confidence as well. But we are talking about it for a long time now. I don't know why he isn't fit enough. Maybe he knows the reason himself," he further added.
