IND vs AUS WTC Final 2023: Senior opener Rohit Sharma is all set to make his overseas captaincy debut in Tests when he leads the Indian cricket team against Australia in World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 Final at the Kennington Oval, starting from June 7 (Wednesday). In Tests, Rohit has so far captained team India in six Tests and all have been played at home. This time, India have a serious chance of overcoming their ICC title drought by winning IND vs AUS WTC Final 2023 match. Rohit and team India will take confidence from how they performed last time they played at The Oval.

Meanwhile, Indian players will be wearing brand new jerseys for the WTC Final clash. Days after unveiling three different jersey designs for all three formats, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared pictures from a photoshoot, featuring Indian cricketers in the new kit, which will make its debut in IND vs AUS WTC Final match on June 7.

Some of the star players who have been key to India's success in Test cricket for last few years aren't part of the WTC Final match. Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah and KL Rahul are still managing their injuries. However, India have many match-winners in their current squad and will hope to finally put an much-awaited end to their ICC trophy drought.
