Even as an intense battle between the bat and ball nears its climax at the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final in London, the iconic cricket match saw a fan proposing to his girlfriend on camera. The incident happened on Day 4 of the India-Australia Test match during India's second innings. As the Men in Blue had started off on a positive note after being given a target of 444 to win, a fan in the stands popped up the ring for his girlfriend on camera who said yes as the two shared a kiss on camera.
The video of the heartwarming moment between the lovers has gone viral on the internet in which the boy could be seen helping his girlfriend wear the ring.

Talking about the cricketing action, Australia seem to be having the upper hand but given that India have scored runs at a brisk rate in their second innings, India would still harbour hopes of a record win in what is their second successive appearance in a WTC final. India had also reached the finals of the previous cycle of the WTC but on that occasion they had succumbed to a defeat against New Zealand.
If India go on to win this fixture, not only would this be a record run chase but they would also secure an ICC title after 10 long years, having not been able to clinch a single world title across formats in last 10 years since the 2013 Champions Trophy which was also played in England. MS Dhoni was the captain then after which Virat Kohli became the skipper and despite his incredible record in bilateral competitions as the captain, he failed to lead India to an ICC title.
