During India's tour of Australia, Indian cricket team has to play an ODI and T20 series first but under the leadership of captain Virat Kohli, the Indian players are focusing more on the Test series. The Indian cricket team is practicing according to the conditions of the test match in Australia as India fast bowlers are using red and pink balls during the net session. The Test series between India and Australia will begin in Adelaide from 17 December. The first test will be a day-night game and pink balls will be used in it.

On 17 November, the players selected for the three formats participated in the practice session. Team India star speedsters Mohammed Shami and Mohammad Siraj bowled to Virat Kohli. Kohli himself posted a video of the practice. In his tweet he wrote: Love test cricket practice sessions.

IND vs AUS: Why Virat Kohli Will Play Only A Single Test Match Against Australia?

Virat Kohli will play only one Test match during the Australia tour. He will be part of the Day Night Test to be held in Adelaide. After this, he will come to India for the birth of his first child.

Most players were busy in the IPL for the last two months, so instead of practicing with the white ball, they were seen practicing with the red and pink ball used in Test Cricket. Young sensational opener Lokesh Rahul was also facing a pink ball in the nets, which indicates that he would most likely be included in the playing 11 for the first Test.

Ind vs Aus: Mohammed Shami Will Be The Key Bowler For Team India Against Australia!

30-year-old Shami took 20 wickets while playing for Kings XI Punjab in IPL 2020. In the four-Test series, the Indian team will depend a lot on Shami. Along with the Test, he is also part of the ODI and T20 teams. Mohammed Siraj, who is only part of the Test squad, bowled under the supervision of Shami and the rest of the senior players during practice session. The 26-year-old has just played one ODI and three T20 matches for India. At the same time, in IPL 2020, he has taken 11 wickets in nine matches.

Then the first T20 will be played in Canberra on 4th December. The last two T20s will be played on 6 and 8 December in Sydney.
