Amid India’s terrific batting show, Australian skipper Tim Paine stole the show for a while with his funny banter behind the stumps. With Rohit Sharma on the strike, Paine had his chirps and chats with Aaron Finch to distract India's limited-overs vice-captain.

During the 139th over, the Australian skipper was heard chatting with Finch who was fielding at the short leg position. Nathan Lyon was bowling to Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane was at the non-striker's end. While the HITMAN was at the strike, they began talking about the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals, which are captained by Rohit and Rahane respectively.

“There is a toss-up between (Rajasthan) Royals and (Mumbai) Indians for me. If Rohit hits a six here, I am changing to Mumbai,” Paine’s voice was heard on the stumps mic.

The Aussie skipper further joked and asked Finch that he had played for almost all the teams in the IPL to which Finch replied, "Except Bangalore”.

Earlier, in the second Test at Perth, Paine was seen chirping while opener Murali Vijay was on the strike.

“Murali, I know he’s your captain but you can’t seriously like him as a bloke,” Paine was heard saying.
