For Australia, Pat Cummins will not be taking part since he is in Sydney after his mother’s death. Steve Smith will lead the proceedings for Kangaroos.  Since 2020, this is the first 50-over series between these two teams. Back in 2020, Australia won a three-game series 2-1. Team India are coming to play this series after a fantastic Test series victory. The wicketkeeper-batter remained unbeaten on 75 in the end while Jadeja scored 45, also hitting the winnings runs after his spell of 2 for 46. India chased down 189 with 61 balls to go.
