The picturesque Brabourne Stadium is all set to host an international match after a long gap of 9 years. After the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) denied hosting fourth India vs West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium, the BCCI shifted the play to CCI.

Meanwhile, the tickets for the 4th ODI will go on sale from Tuesday, a senior CCI official. “The online sale of tickets for the October 29 game will start tomorrow. Around 22,000 tickets will be sold and rates vary from Rs 1,000 to Rs 25,000,” the official told PTI on conditions of anonymity.

The official said that tickets can be booked through 'BookMyShow' website, adding that there will be no physical sale of tickets.

International Cricket returns to CCI after almost nine years. It had last hosted a Test match in 2009 and a One Day International in 2006. Usually, practice matches of visiting international teams are held at the Brabourne Stadium.

After winning the Test series 2-0 against West Indies, India began the ODI rubber gloriously. While chasing a huge target of 323 runs, India won the match by 8 wickets with 47 balls to spare on Sunday in Guwahati. The hosts are currently leading the 5-match series 1-0.
