Defending champions India trounced arch rivals Pakistan by 10 wickets in the first semifinals of the ICC Under 19 World Cup played at Senwes Park
in Potchefstroom and secured a berth in the title clash .. After the Indians bowled out Pakistan for paltry 172 runs, they chased down the target with relative ease as openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Divyansh Saxena powered the chase in just 36 overs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal continued with his brilliant run of form in the tournament scoring a belligerent ton. Meanwhile Divyash Saxena lent good support to Jaiswal with a well compiled 59. The Indian opening duo was relentless in their pursuit tonking the Pakistani bowlers to all corners of the Park with some lusty blows.


The win was also India's fourth straight victory over their sub continent rivals in the showpiece event. India reached their 7th final in all at the showpiece event.

India will take on the winners of the second semifinal to be played between New Zealand and Bangladesh.
