The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have announced a 15-member squad for the Women's T20 World Cup 2023. Shikha Pandey has made a surprised comeback to the team after last playing a T20I in October 2021. In addition, the selectors have also announced the squad for the India’s tri-series in South Africa starting in January.

Harmanpreet Kaur will capatain the team while Smriti Mandhana has been announced as her deputy. The selectors have given nod to two wicketkeepers in the squad with Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia getting a place in the team.

Pooja Vastrakar's name also features in the list but is subject to her clearing her fitness test.
