Pakistan's left handed opener Shan Masood who scored a gritty ton in the series opener at Old Trafford propelled him to a career-best 19th position while English all-rounder Chris Woakes's 84-run game changing knock in England's 277-run chase chase helped him gain 18 places.
Left-hander Masood's first-innings 156-run knock in a losing cause at Old Trafford helped him make a massive leap of 14 places and is now second-highest ranked Test batsman for Pakistan behind Babar Azam (6th).
Meanwhile, Woakes stellar exploits with the bat in the brilliant run chase against Pakistan at Manchester helped him attain the 78th place in the batsmen's list. The English all-round stitched a 139-run sixth-wicket stand with wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler in England's dramatic win.
Woakes, who contributed meaningfully with scores of 19 and 84 in the series opener also jumped to seventh position in the list of all-rounders.
Buttler’s innings of 38 and 75 have lifted him from 44th to 30th while Ollie Pope has attained a career-best 36th position after scoring 62 and seven.
In the Test bowlers’ list, Pakistan leg-spinner Yasir Shah jumped two places to 22nd position after picking up eight wickets in the match. Shadab Khan has re-entered the rankings at a career-best 69th position.
England's win at Manchester helped them to further add points and cement their third place in the ICC World Test Championship points table, England have moved to 266 points, within 30 points of second-placed Australia.
India still lead the table with 360 points, New Zealand are fourth with 180 points and Pakistan fifth at 140.
