The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 is being played on American shores for the first time. The tournament is a bid by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to promote the sport in US market and make it more global. Other than bringing the sport to US, the world cricket governing body has also taken other steps like educating fans on the various aspects of the game. However, in a hilarious incident, one of the ICC staffer, failed to recognise Dale Styen.

The former South Africa speedster, hailed by many as one of the greats of the game and one of the best fast bowlers ever to have played the game with 699 international wickets to his name, was mistaken as a fan with the ICC staffer teaching him how to bowl. The video was captured on camera and made its way on social media after being originally shared by Steyn himself.
