A day after India clinched the 5-match ODI series 3-1, the International Cricket Council (ICC) released their revised ODI player rankings. Wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have made mighty leaps in the raking list following their series-winning performances against West Indies.


Chahal jumped up three places to enter the top 10 bowlers list. He has attained the 8th position with 683 rating points. England spinner Adil Rashid is placed at 9 with as many points after shining against Sri Lanka.


Ravindra Jadeja, who returned in the ODI outfit after more than a year, moved up by 16 places to sit at the 25th position. The veteran left-armer featured in 4 out of five games against West Indies and scalped seven wickets as India won 3-1.


But above all, speedster Jasprit Bumrah, who was roped into the playing XI for the last three ODIs, has retained the top spot with his career-best rating – 841 points.


As far as the batsmen are concerned, Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan fell four positions down, getting posted at No 9. He struggled throughout the series and amassed 112 runs in 5 matches with 38 being his highest score.


Ambati Rayudu, who showed some impeccable batting performance at No 4, has risen up by 24 places to No 48 with a career-best 553 points.


Despite losing the series, West Indies had some positives in the form of Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer. The West Indies wicketkeeper moved up by 31 positions to stand at No 26 while Hetmyer catapulted to No 25, making a jump of 22 spots. Both the batters scored 259 and 250 runs respectively in the series.


Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his deputy Rohit Sharma are leading the ranking table at No 1 and 2 positions respectively. Kohli is leading with 899 rating points followed by with a career-high 871.
